We are looking for people with positive attitude, that are able to perform repetitive tasks at a fast-paced manufacturing facility.

The Sanitation Cleaner joins a small but mighty team that is integral to the success of our production and responsible for maintaining Good Housekeeping Practices and plant Sanitation.

Shift: Straight Days 8:00am to 4:00pm

If you have good hand-eye coordination, the ability to follow instructions, can learn quickly, and want to join a progressive team then you are what we are looking for.

Safety First

Details

• Monitor the overall sanitation of the facility and grounds and clean as necessary.
• Schedule cleaning in parallel with all departments.
• Monitor waste pickup and sanitation supplies (paper towels, sanitizer etc.) Keep sanitation locker area clean, organized and stocked.
• Report to your supervisor when the cleaning schedule/frequency is not sufficient to maintain proper level of sanitation.
• Ensure that the correct chemical is used on the correct surface e.g. PMS is not used for food contact surfaces.
• Correct tools for the correct circumstance e.g. do not use mop to clean extruder.
• Alert Maintenance and/or Technical Support if anything requires attention beyond your training.
• Ensure that all paperwork is filled out on time and correctly.
• Other miscellaneous jobs as required.

This is a manufacturing facility that goes through high heat and humidity in the summer months.

• A Great Attitude!
• Team player
• Experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment preferred.
• Steel-toe (Green Patch) Safety Shoes.
• Ability to understand English written and verbal instructions.
• Able to lift 35-40 lbs on a regular basis and stand for long periods of time.
• Able to fill out reports, and checklists.
• Willing to work in areas of high heat and humidity, high noise levels and dust.
• Willing to wear all required protective equipment.
• Proper and safe use of tools and equipment required
